{"id":67,"date":"2017-08-16T16:27:14","date_gmt":"2017-08-16T07:27:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aota.cafe24.com\/?p=67"},"modified":"2020-03-25T11:16:47","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T02:16:47","slug":"an-invitation-to-host-the-16th-itc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/aota.kr\/?p=67","title":{"rendered":"The 16th International Thyroid Congress, 8-13 Sep 2020, Xian, China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 16<sup>th<\/sup> International Thyroid Congress will be held in Xi\u2019an, China, on September 8-13, 2020 with the Chinese Society of Endocrinology composing the Local Organizing Committee.\u00a0 This was officially announced at the Closing Session of the 15<sup>th<\/sup> ITC held at the Walt Disney World Swan &amp; Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida, USA.\u00a0 An audio-visual presentation for the 16<sup>th<\/sup> ITC was shown followed by the invitation speech by Weiping Teng, AOTA Vice President and Chair of the LOC.<\/p>\n<div class=\"index_container\">\n<div class=\"page-container\">\n<div class=\"container_24\">\n<div class=\"grid_24\">\n<div class=\"page-content\">\n<div class=\"grid_17 alpha\">\n<div class=\"content-bar single_post\">\n<div class=\"post single\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>This will be the third time that AOTA will host the ITC following a system of rotation among the 4 Sister Societies in Thyroidology.\u00a0 Sydney (Australia) hosted the 8<sup>th<\/sup> ITC in 1980 and Kyoto (Japan) the 12<sup>th<\/sup> ITC in 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Xi\u2019an is the capital of Shanxi Province, China, and the cultural and educational center of west China.
